Day 02

Plan time for Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Village experience optional, Pool/leisure, and Sigiriya Water Gardens. If the pace and local conditions allow, the day can also include Lion’s Paw and summit ruins and Mirror Wall & frescoes within the fortress. Sea conditions and seasonal activities can change, so marine experiences are kept optional while beach time remains flexible.

Plan time for Highland train subject to availability, Ella views, Relaxed evening, and Nanu Oya railway station. If the pace and local conditions allow, the day can also include Scenic hill-country train ride subject to seat availability, Tea-estate and valley views from the train, and Nine Arches Bridge. Hill-country weather can change quickly, so viewpoints and short photo stops are best kept flexible.

The focus today is Ella to Mirissa, using the private vehicle to keep the sightseeing flexible rather than fixed to a large-group timetable. Plan time for Nine Arches Bridge, Ravana Falls viewpoint, Mirissa sunset, and Mirissa Beach. If the pace and local conditions allow, the day can also include Whale watching subject to season and sea conditions and Coconut Tree Hill. Train seats are subject to availability and the mountain weather can change, so timings are adjusted without losing the main experiences.
