Day 01Begin with a short transfer to Negombo so the first day stays comfortable after the flight. Depending on arrival time, enjoy the lagoon or beach and keep the evening relaxed before heading into the wet-zone rainforest.
Day 02Travel from the west coast toward Sinharaja through changing landscapes and small towns. Arrive near the forest in time for a gentle orientation walk or quiet lodge afternoon, saving the main guided rainforest experience for the next morning.
Day 03Spend the day exploring Sinharaja with a local guide, moving at a walking pace through dense lowland rainforest, streams and birding areas. The route can be adjusted to weather, trail conditions and guest fitness, with time for careful wildlife observation rather than a rushed trek.
Day 04Leave the wet-zone forest and travel toward Udawalawe, where the landscape becomes drier and more open. Take an afternoon safari when timing allows, focusing on elephants and the park’s broad reservoir-and-grassland scenery.
Day 05Travel from Udawalawe into the cooler hills around Ella. The day balances road scenery with Ravana Falls, the famous Nine Arches Bridge and optional short walks, leaving the evening free for cafés and mountain views.
Day 06Descend from Ella to the coast and spend time inside Galle Fort before continuing to Bentota. The final night is deliberately relaxed, giving you a beach finish after several active nature days.
Day 07Enjoy a slow final morning in Bentota before the private transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport. If flight timing allows, add a short Colombo or café stop without compromising the airport arrival margin.
